With BIGSOUND currently taking over Brisbane, we expect that there's going to be quite a few musos, music fans and industry folk nursing sore heads leading into this weekend. The show rolls on for quite a few of the showcasing artists, heading around the country for more shows, while some other Australian and international names look set to kick things off on their own on respective tours down the coast. Check out our picks for this weekend below!

Meg Mac - SYDNEY

Darling Meg will be hitting the OAF in Sydney this weekend for a long anticipated headline show as part of her national tour. Unsurprisingly, the performer has been selling out dates off the back of a successful run on the Groovin' the Moo tour, plus the loads of accolades she's been receiving from local and international ends of the industry in recent months. This bunch of live shows she's set to embark on will be the final time Australian fans will be able to see Meg Mac do her thing on home turf before the end of the year, so if you've got tickets, clutch 'em tight and praise the music lawds - these shows are going to be ones to remember.

Where?: Oxford Art Factory, Sydney.
When?: Friday, September 11th.
Tickets: SOLD OUT.

The Jungle Giants - MELBOURNE

The Jungle Giants are taking to the Corner Hotel this weekend, performing two shows for both the underage and of-age fans in Melbourne. The band will play an U18, alcohol free matinee on Saturday, followed by the sold out 18+ date that night. The Speakerzoid tour has been treating the Brisbane band well so far and it's great to have been able to track the way the album has been received by fans as it's been given the live treatment. Again, if you've managed to snag tickets to this one, you're in for a good ride - The Jungle Giants have a got a great formula for their lives shows well and truly established this year.

Where?: Corner Hotel, Melbourne.
When?: Saturday, September 12th.
Tickets:www.cornerhotel.com for matinee tickets, 18+ night show SOLD OUT.

Gang of Youths - PERTH

One of this year's buzz Bigsound showcasing bands has been Gang of Youths and in general, it's safe to say that theirs is a name many people have been constantly talking about through 2015. The boys will be back in their JD Future Legends tour bus and heading west this weekend, taking in a show at the Capitol in Perth. As they near the end of their extensive Australian tour in support of The Positions, Gang of Youths have continued to carve for themselves a spot in the hearts of Australian music fans around the country and as ticket sales have shown, the Sydney band have made their impact a long-lasting one.

Where?: Capitol, Perth.
When?: Saturday, September 12th.

Toni Braxton - SYDNEY

A tour titled 'The Hits' couldn't be more apt, as iconic R&B vocalist Toni Braxton is in the country at the moment to bring fans just that. Braxton appears at the Sydney Opera House on Saturday night for a show that will be sure to be a great one, with her impressive range set to fill up the concert hall excellently. It's Braxton's first time ever in Australia as well, which makes this tour all the more special - for fans of the multi-Grammy winner, this one is going to be as memorable for them as it is for the artist herself.

Where?: Sydney Opera House.
When?: Saturday, September 12th.
Tickets:www.sydneyoperahouse.com.

Walk the Moon - SYDNEY

US visitors Walk The Moon will perform at the OAF for a lil' Sunday show that will see the hit-makers link up with Canadian Bigsound showcasers, Yukon Blonde. Walk The Moon have already established for themselves a popular following in Australia off radio play alone, but shows here previously only further demonstrated how the love for them out this way has been generating strongly through the year. In town also appearing at the YouTube FanFest, Walk The Moon's OAF show will be the only chance fans will have to see the band in a smaller, headline capacity.

Where?: Oxford Art Factory, Sydney.
When?: Sunday, September 13th.
Tickets: wwww.moshtix.com.au.
